This unique model transports us to the mythical period of Renaissance. We have created an exclusive cartography, faithful to French knowledge in the 16th century. Set in a solid brass ring, the globe is placed in an oak table decorated with a calendar featuring the 12 signs of the zodiac.
The globe is the result of a prestigious commission for the Royal Castle of Amboise. You can admire it in the bedroom of King François I! It was this piece that inspired the creation of two colour palettes. Royal blue - the most expensive and popular colour among artists and the aristocracy of the time. And the green - beige inspired by the patina of the old globes.
The 50 cm globe is delivered with its solid oak base and its certificate of origin.
