If you’ve been following our adventures, you’ll be aware that we had a real problem finding enough space in our workshop. Going from 3 to 6 people without doubling our workspace was becoming a real challenge.
In January, we started looking for new premises. It’s fair to say that we were looking for the famous 5-legged sheep: a bright studio with plenty of workspace, a unique place to hold exhibitions that suited us and, of course, within easy reach of Besançon’s hypercentre. After a long search and a few visits, we realised that the studio of our dreams didn’t exist, or at least it wasn’t on the market yet!
So in August, we decided on a solution that may not be perfect, but which suits us! In the street parallel to our workshop, there was a large, light-filled space to rent! So it was in Rue du Château Rose that we set down our globes in what is now becoming our showroom. And the place is big enough to organise exhibitions! We’ve already got lots of ideas to take you on a journey!
The teams who remain at Rue du Cercle have gained more workspace, and our globes have found the ideal place to be showcased!
We’ve still got a few finishing touches to do before we can show you the place, but get ready to discover our new home!
