Nest Point

We’ve been lucky enough to have travelled a lot already to realise that there are many ends of the world, those places that give the impression that once you’ve arrived there, there’s absolutely nothing left afterwards, apart from the immensity of a mountain or an ocean. Nest Point is such a place, not only because it forms the western extremity of the Isle of Skye, but also and above all because of the site itself. Marked by a derelict lighthouse bearing a foghorn, the size of which tells us something about the possible density of the fog. Perched on cliffs gnawed by the violent and continuous assault of a raging ocean, covered by a sky so heavy that it seems at any moment it will fall. The expanse of grass provides the hint of light to make the scene sublime.

A deep, dark blue, tending towards black, set against a luminous, planty yellow for a raw, wild effect. If you love stormy skies, you'll love these colours.
