Kronebreen

Less than 1,500 km from the North Pole, the Kronebreen glacier closes the Kongsfjorden bay in the Svalbard archipelago. Here, the green of the vegetation is almost non-existent, giving way to dense shades of blue and brown as wild as the polar bears that come here to linger. The sea and sky become one, under a sun that never sets during the summer months. A land of exploration and science, this is one of the last frontiers of the world, the point of departure for Nobile and Amundsen’s legendary airship in their quest for the North Pole.

A cold, raw palette, resolutely modern and sober.
