Kronenbreen
Less than 1500 km from the North Pole, in the archipelago of Svalbard, the glacier Kronenbreen closes the Kongsfjorden bay. Here, green vegetation is almost non-existent, giving way to shades of dense blues and browns as wild as the polar bears that linger in these surrounds. The sea and the sky become one, under the sun that never sets in the summer months. It is also a place dedicated to science and one of the most northerly localities in the world, a starting point of the famous Nobile and Amundsen airships heading to conquer the North Pole.
Cold and raw colours with a resolutely modern and sober effect.
